On Wednesday May 16, 2018 Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the world's busiest and most efficient airport, was home to the multi-designer fashion presentation and retail pop up experience held on Concourse F of the International Terminal. In its second year Global Runway: ATL expanded to include a silent auction benefiting Bert's Big Adventure, celebrated Sean John's 20th anniversary and featuring food from ATL Airport's own Chicken & Beer.
Bert's Big Adventure, serves as Global Runway ATL's community partner & beneficiary of this year's inaugural silent auction. The organization is a non profit that provides a magical all-expense-paid five day journey to Walt Disney world for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Kennedy Morgan, Bert's Big Adventure special guest experienced a full day of glam and fashion by being able to walk in the fashion presentation. Morgan is also the founder of her own non profit organization, Love to the Moon. The contributors to the silent auction were Atlanta United, Atlanta Hawks, Harlem Globetrotters, Duty Free Americas, Porsche, The Bert Show, Solis, Myavana and Martell.
Helping the iconic Sean John brand celebrate 20 years, they served as the show closer for the fashion presentation showcasing their items that fit the casual and comfy travel theme of the event. The other featured presenting brands were Brooks Brothers, Spanx, and ExOfficio. The pop up experience featured massages on behalf of XpressSpa and makeovers from Mac Cosmetics as well featuring Brighton, Benefit San Francisco, Bijoux Terner and Michael Kors.
The premier fashion event was powered by partners: 10Squared PR along with Simply Buckhead and featured multiple style ambassadors that represent the diverse and unique styles of Atlanta, GA.
